Printing guidelines:  the print quality of the maps will generally be superior if you download the files (right click and save to disk, etc.) and print from a graphics application. The print preferences should be set to "fit to page", selecting the appropriate page mode (portrait or landscape) to get the largest possible view, and use of the preview mode to make sure it all looks right before you hit the final print button.  Also, use high quality paper for best results and set the printer properties to match the quality of the paper used.
